MCaaS CORE Request Statuses

Updated over a year ago

After submitting a screening request, users can monitor its progress and completion through the Request Manager page in MCaaS CORE. This page showcases request statuses at various processing stages, each of which can be associated with document upload functionality. This feature allows users to upload necessary documents before the request is finalized and made available for review on the platform.

Request submission: For more information on how to submit a screening request in MCaaS CORE, please click here. Once the request is submitted, the Request Manager page will allow you to track its completion through the following statuses:

1. Pending: The ‘Pending’ status indicates that the request has been received by MCaaS and is in line to be processed. During this stage, the request can still be withdrawn if necessary. Once processing is initiated, the status will change to 'In Progress'. Document upload and leaving a remark are possible and encouraged.

1a. Withdrawn: The ‘Withdrawn’ status indicates that the request was submitted but consequently withdrawn by the user hence no report will be available for the requested entity. Document upload and remarks are disabled at this stage.

2. In progress: The ‘In Progress’ status indicates that the request is currently being processed by MCaaS, undergoing thorough review and screening, and is no longer eligible for withdrawal. Document upload and leaving a remark are possible and encouraged. Once this stage is completed, the status will be updated to reflect 'Document Review'.

3. Document Review: The 'Document Review' status indicates that MCaaS is presently examining documents submitted by the customer or collected from the counterparty. Comprehensive document analysis and validation procedures are underway. Document upload is not possible at this stage, however you can still leave a remark. Once document review is completed, the status will be updated to either 'Reviewed' or 'Inconclusive' with further notifications to the requestor.

3a. Inconclusive: The 'Inconclusive' status indicates discrepancies identified during the review process. This means that the submitted request does not align with MCaaS investigations conducted through multiple sources. MCaaS will leave a remark triggering a call for action to the requestor, enabling them to upload a document or leave a remark for MCaaS. Click here to learn more about the Inconclusive status.

4. Reviewed: Reviewed status indicates that necessary reviews have been undertaken by MCaaS. If the the entity is ready to be published in MCaaS CORE, the status will soon be displayed as 'Completed'.

5. Completed: The ‘Completed’ status indicates that the request has been fully processed and the completed report is now available on MCaaS CORE. Considering MCaaS CORE's document depository elements, document upload for Completed requests is possible for all subscribers of EDD+ services and is available within the EDD+ 'Documents' section.
