Marcura Compliance Screening List Customization

Admins can tailor sanctions screening by (de)activating screening lists to match internal risk appetite and business relevance.

Updated over 6 months ago

As part of the Business Rule section, Marcura Compliance now offers Screening List Customization, giving Admin users more control over their screening preferences.

We’ve organized our 1,300+ sanctions and regulatory lists that Admins can now activate or deactivate as needed on the Risk Screening platform. To make the decision process easier, we've organized the lists into screening groups that include:

  • European Union

  • United States

  • United Nations

  • Other Regulatory Lists

  • Politically Exposed Persons

  • Relatives and Close Associates

  • Special Interest

  • State-Owned Enterprise

  • Adverse Media

To maintain a transparent audit trail, decisions to activate or deactivate (subscribe or unsubscribe) from a list will be date and name stamped.

This update is crucial for organizations looking to customize their screening preferences within the platform, particularly when aligning with internal requirements.

It facilitates the exclusion of certain jurisdictions due to irrelevance to business operations, changes to internal risk appetite, resource optimization and operational efficiency in order to streamline the screening process and focus on more relevant screening information.

To access the Business Rules section for Screening List customization, please ensure you are logged into our Risk Screening platform and click here.

Each organization may have its unique considerations, and the ability to unsubscribe from specific screening lists provides flexibility for compliance administrators to tailor their approach based on the evolving needs and internal risk appetite.

This feature is exclusively available to Admins. If you require this level of access, we recommend reaching out to the Legal and Compliance POCs within your organization. They should then notify the Marcura Compliance CSM team to grant you specific permissions.
